Choose Your Weapon by Chris Gerringer
Jumping on the bade dude’s head only gets you so far, that’s why the Gods of Gaming created weapons. In this series, Chris reviews some of the most memorable vidya gaem weapons from Dedede’s Hammer to totally cheap and should probably be made illegal RCP-90 from Goldeneye. I’m still looking for the Vampire Killer from Castlevania, but I’d settle for the Cream Pie. Check out a few more over at Chris’ deviantart.
UPDATE: Here’s the Vampire Killer:

So Chogrin and the rest of us at The Autumn Society are always up for a themed blog.
Case in point: Fill Up Your Hearts is the latest and greatest with regards to all things Legend of Zelda. As it’s practically hours until the newest installment reaches our snowy, Canadian, store shelves, I thought it appropriate to share my offering to such a wonderful series.
If it’s one thing the Zelda franchise has, and one of the reasons why I love it so, it’s a rich variety of flora and fauna. So with that in mind, I opted to appropriate Charley Harper’s opus of brilliance, the Golden Book of Biology, into a Hyrulian version. I won’t pretend to even come close to Harper’s excellence but I think he’d be cool with how much fun I had with this.
Oh and if you’re keen for a print, be sure to email me.
